Title: Director of Facilities
The Director of Facilities is responsible for supporting Departments in an administrative capacity with daily facilities operations with the end result being minimal downtime in the building or equipment within budgetary guidelines. The person in charge will also supervise respective in-house facility technicians and the activities of all outside contractors who are working in our restaurants or on our grounds. This position is a salaried, "Full Time" position and is on call 24/7.
People/Vendors

- Develops maintenance staff so that they are able to take on greater responsibility
- Ensures there are no violations of policies and procedures or governmental laws
- Act as liaison and handle disputes between restaurant management and service vendors to expedite unresolved repair and maintenance issues. Provide managers with correct vendor information via updated vendor lists.
- Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.
- Able to plan, expedite, and follow-up on all types and size projects.
- Ensures that staff members'/service vendors' behavior is consistent with Company values
- Understands, accurately predicts and communicates manpower issues

- Communicate with landlords and/or landlord-engineers to resolve and repair any maintenance issues.
- Establishes service levels for stores, equipment technicians, contractors and vendors. Coordinates equipment technicians' schedule and monitors day-to-day performance.
Technical
- Coordinate and develop scope of work for service contracts.
- Provide specific information to management regarding budgetary analysis and best means and methods to resolve construction related opportunities.
- Ensures that maintenance budgets are accurate
- Hits targeted maintenance cost per period
- Responds to opportunities with a sense of urgency
- Ensures proper execution of service by maintenance staff and service vendors programs
- Experience with HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Plumbing
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project management/preventative maintenance programs.
- Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations.
- Keeps in compliance with and abreast of all OSHA regulations.
- Orchestrate, develop and supervise special constructions projects to insure successful job completion.
- Meet/communicate with city and /or county inspectors to ensure store operations and objectives are met. Meet with contractors and subcontractors for warranty purposes or trouble-shooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiar with local building codes and OSHA regulations.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in maintenance trades.
- Knowledge of business codes.
