The 2007-2008 IFMA LA Leadership Team is guided by the following principles –
We embrace, honor, and are guided by Key Statements of Core Purpose, Core Values, Vision, Mission as set forth by the International Facility Management Association.
We set and achieve SMART goals that contribute to the success and health of our chapter and further raise the bar on service to our members while also creating greater awareness of and distinction for IFMA LA in our industry and in our community.
We create opportunities for active participation in the leadership and operation of our chapter for all members who desire to take on such roles.
We deliver timely and informative programs, provide educational offerings, special events, and fun networking opportunities to provide a solid return on our members’ investment of their time and money.
We recruit new members and retain existing members by meeting their needs and my exceeding their expectations as an industry association that enhances our members’ careers and their lives.
IFMA LA’s purpose is to –
Serve our members and the facility management profession.
Provide information, education, special events, recognition, networking, advocacy and personal growth opportunities through leadership experiences. 2007 – 2008 Goals include –
Develop and implement “Best Practices” in all aspects of the leadership and operation of the Los Angeles Chapter.
Recruit a 25% increase in new members with a focus on professional members.
Maintain a 90% rate of retention of existing members.
Develop and implement a sustaining sponsorship program as a source of operational funding for the Chapter as well as provide additional benefits to our sustaining sponsors.
Increase attendance at the Chapters meetings and programs.
Create a Professional Development Committee to create and implement Chapter-hosted educational opportunities for our members and our industry.
Enhance communications via revitalized branding and exposure and via upgraded web site, newsletters and email blasts.
Reach out to nearby chapters and to other industry associations to promote on- going partnering opportunities.
Create and execute an additional special event to enhance networking opportunities.
Support a charity via our joint LA/SFV Golf Tournament and LA Holiday Party.
Improve the on-going administration of the Chapter.
